Technology for quantifying cutting force

When drilling a material such as metal, ceramics, semiconductor silicon, or quartz glass, there have been troubles due to the deterioration of the drill, such as decrease in the accuracy, interruption of operation, or severe damage to the tools or materials.
In response to these issues, we have developed a system that automatically detects the deterioration of drills and replaces them as needed.
It has realized high accuracy as well as work efficiency in drilling, which is rather difficult.
The system sets the maximum acceptable wear of the tool and protects the tools and materials based on the actual measurement instead of experience.
